Business Laptop with AMD Processor?

#1 Post by K. Len » Sun Dec 28, 2014 5:27 am

Hi!,I'm currently living in Taiwan, and a Very close of me cousin ask me to get him a new Notebook, since he will use it just for normal tasking, and some casual gaming, i was thinking on a laptop with an AMD processor, sadly, all Business solutions i had found have Intel processors.
Does anyone knows about a good business notebook with an AMD Processor?

I believe HP makes some EliteBooks with AMD CPUs, though I don't think they're any less expensive than the Intel machines if you're looking to save a buck.

There are 11" X-series Thinkpads with AMD APUs, but Linux support is worse than Windows as some of the GPU hardware acceleration is only available under Windows, even with the proprietary driver.

There are also HP Probooks with AMD Trinity processors.
