RBS,

I have heard of the show and that it is a great show.

What happened to the episode that made you say this is the REAL episode?

Thank you,
John

I started watching Downton Abbey recently, and I don't know how things develop as the show goes on, but this is probably not what I would expect. This gives some resemblance to "It's a wonderful life", but that's maybe the intent.

Downton Abbey turned out to be a good show, and I will probably continue to watch it. Slower paced and kind of.. innocent. More pleasant than some of the other modern shows out there. Plus I have this thing for the british tv-shows.

So far I have watched all 5 seasons (equals 5 years).
The above linked episode was only concocted AFTER the 5th season was over.
AND it was only meant as a joke!

AFAIK there is now a 6th season in the making, but that might be the last one.
The writer is now considering a similar series, set in New York in the 1800s.

Hmm, maybe I end up watching all those episodes too. We watch it on Netflix, so haven't checked if all seasons are available there.

I realized, indeed, it was a joke.

We have now made it to season 3. So I watched this clip again today, and it was even funnier now. Off to show it to my wife.
