Tool to recover emails in Outlook?

#1 Post by birry » Wed Mar 25, 2015 12:46 pm

Hello,

I'm using Windows 7 and Office 2010 and I have a problem. Microsof Outlook isn't working and the worst is that i've lost seven emails very important. How to I recover emails in Outlook? I read some advices but have failed. Is there a tool that can be able to work in Windows 7 and Office 2010 to restore my lost emails?

Admin note: Moved from Windows 7 forum to Off Topic as this is more of a question on how Outlook works than an OS issue.

Have you tried Outlook's "Scanpst.exe" tool? If so, you can always run a repair of Office 2010 if you haven't already.

Hi USSS and thanks for your help.
I just finished to try this advice and it did not work, also i tried with this http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2534513, I've had not luck so far.
I guess the only way is with an Outlook repair tool or in fact I should resign to recover my lost emails :( .

If you feel your missing e-mails are valuable, then yes, I would purchase a repair tool. Try to find one offering a free trial, even if you must eventually pay to actually recover the missing messages it finds. If such a trial session finds 7 or more missing messages, then it might be worth the cost of the tool. Do plenty of research before making a purchase, though.

Do you use IMAP ? If so, your emails are still on the server.
