feebay madness!

I have been using ebay to look at some thinkpad things, and i successfully grabbed a t43 and a t60 for cheap, but there are things it seems ebay won't tell you until you commit to buy and then attempt to pay, I was going to purchase a t60 when i went to pay it just now decides to tell me they can't ship it to me, even though i looked at the shipping window and it says anywhere in the US. I was not aware that AK is not the US. Usually it says "Does not ship to hawaii or alaska" but it didn't say that. Now I'm waiting to hear back from the seller to cancel the transaction, and I'm hoping they don't decide to take the offensive and file a complaint against me for not paying. There's always something ready to cause trouble.

You may be able to explain to the seller that it wasn't your fault that the shipping page didn't indicate Lower 48 only. What was the item number(s)? I looked at a couple of recent T43 sales with free shipping and those final prices of $27 and $32 probably would just cover shipping up to AK.
