ultrabay for T5x0 and T4x0 sata to pata?

This ultrabay adapter that takes sata to pata bridge and use pata drives instead of sata hard drives?

Had to ask since this is safer way to do this work since I had a usb adapter die on me by static charge and killed two hard drives in the process years ago. Ebay turned up nothing.
