Got a Vizio television? STOP it from spying

#1 Post by RealBlackStuff » Tue Feb 07, 2017 2:50 pm

Owners of Vizio TVs won't be too happy to know that they have been spied on for years!
Switch it OFF.

$2.2 million is like pennies for a company like Vizio. Make it $50 million minimum and maybe companies will actually think twice.

And once again, the late great George Orwell had it right, 70 years ago...
...Knowledge is a deadly friend when no one sets the rules...(King Crimson)

Cheers,

George (your grouchy retired FlexView farmer)

You dont have to switch it off... just use it with a HDMI source and you should be fine.

Funny thing is Vizio is owned by a company that does the LeECO LeTV phones that are also riddled with malware spyware adware.
