Finding a new supplier of 4:3 screens.

I wonder if anyone has tried to get a new set of 4:3 screens produced, maybe trying to contact BOE-Hydis to get them to manufacture a limited run of 1600x1200 LCDs?? Just something that popped into my head. Possibly going to AliBaba?

Yeah, that would be amazing. Unfortunately I am 99.99% sure that the amount of lcd screens we would need is just way to low, and it just wouldn't be worth the hassle for them to set up a production line to make like 50-100 screens.

On a A3x/T4x only "full blast" highest brightness will work, anything lower shuts off the backlight.

Got one second-hand and another one (new) that a fellow german forum user shared with me (shipping costs are killing the trade). My feeling is that these panels are even better than DC2 from elitebook. Having a DC1 / DC2 / X61s Monty Led SXGA+ IPS and Boe AFFS screen one next to another and I must say I like this one the best.
