#1 Post by garnet » Sun Aug 06, 2017 4:09 pm

It seems lenovo support doesnt show the specs anymore. Or am I missing something?

Search on this fourm. There is a excel list of every machine type and their respective specs. The download shpuld be thinkpad-filter.xlsx
Thinkpad4by3's Law of the Universe.

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

Or you could click the "MTM" link at the top which takes you to here (http://tp.krelay.de/index.php).

... from the sticky ThinkPad Machine Type - Model lookup table *PIC*

Alternatively, use http://thinkpadder-id.com/mtm/

That thinkpadder-id link gives only limited info, a lot less than the Forum's MTM link.
Also you have to enter the MTM there without the - (dash).
And just entering the first 4 characters gives you ZILCH.
Not very user-friendly if you ask me.

Does the MTM have the same data as the excel sheet in the sticky?

AFAIK the (krelay) MTM program was written around that spreadsheet.

I always used the excel sheet and its slow search. I even downloaded excel onto a Mac to find search it. Now Ill just use the rapid search this tool gives.

Try googling "ThinkWiki". Good deal of info there.
