Happy Chinese New Year of the Dog

#1 Post by RealBlackStuff » Fri Feb 16, 2018 8:08 am

To all our Chinese friends on the Forum (and beyond):

Today (16th of February, 2018) is the official Chinese New Year.
It will also start the (Zodiac) Year of the Dog.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

PS: you people DO take your time to celebrate: 23 days!

I actually got to get out early of one of my classes thanks to Chinese New Year.

It's not just year of the dog - but year of the pug.

Thanks RBS. We always celebrate Chinese NY with family and friends. Much like any other holidays.

The pug originated in China and is one of the oldest dog breeds, although it has changed throughout time. The dog in the image above (a dithered image that I created while testing a dithering tool) is our 10-year old pug Daisy.
