Best drawing program tablet style ThinkPad

#1 Post by axmaxwell » Sun Dec 02, 2018 10:35 am

hi everyone
I've been working a lot with my x230t and the only thing I think is lacking is my ability to draw on it. Windows 10 standard drawing programs kind of suck. Looking for something not necessarily as advanced as Corel Draw, but a little bit more intuitive than Microsoft Paint

Thinkpad4by3's Law of the Universe.

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

Krita is a pretty nice program that is available for Windows, Mac & Linux.
It recently added SVG 1.1 support, so it is helpful if you have a simple vector from Inkscape.
Ever since Adobe bought Corel, I feel they hindered program development... but perhaps I've just too used to Photoshop & Illustrator.

Looks like I listened to someone about Adobe without fact checking them.

Art Rage is also very good for Windows! Sadly Art Rage is not available on Linux, but thankfully Krita is.
