Scammer groups are exploiting Gmail 'dot accounts' for online fraud
Crooks use "dotted" Gmail addresses to file for fraudulent unemployment benefits, file fake tax returns, and bypass trial periods for online services.
Personally I have no worries, but what about YOU?.
I opened a Gmail account in 2009 and so far have 'already' 709 emails, most of them about website visit-counters.
No emails ever with any private or financial info!
Even my Gmail spam-folder gets only 3 or 4 spam emails per week.

I fail to see what the threat to legitimate account holders is here...
