Anyone interested in collecting Rambus based Pentium 4 machines?

#1 Post by kfzhu1229 » Wed Sep 09, 2020 2:09 pm

As title says. Locally over here in Toronto, Canada I know someone who's trying to sell a Dell Dimension 8250 with one of the best Pentium 4 motherboards (Socket 478, Northwood compatible) that support Rambus (or RDRAM) memory.
Now I am asking over here is anyone interested in such a machine, or do you know someone or some place that this machine would serve a good second life for? I have heard that this thing would be a very kicka** machine back in its days when paired with a Radeon 9700 or 9800.

I would direct you to VOGONS, which is one of the best retro computing communities, but they specifically discourage trading on the forums. Try VCFED.ORG.
