Warning: do NOT use EcoParcel shipping outfit

WARNING!
Never, EVER use EcoParcel to ship any packages in Europe!

Below is the tracking history of my recent nightmare with this untrustworthy outfit.
They are constantly lying through their backteeth.

After signing up and placing an order for a package to Spain, almost daily I received this email in the evening:

Collection problem - Traffic Problems
Collection was not made due to lack of time.
We are very sorry for that, courier will make a collection as fast as possible next working day.

After a week of their senseless and useless dallying I had enough!
I looked all over their website, but couldn't find ANY phone number or email address to contact them.
So I went to PayPal (which I had used to pay them) and opened a dispute to get my money back.
Lo and behold, within hours I got an email from EcoParcel, who BTW use the strangest of email-addresses:

It took several emails with several employees (all using the same [name]@eco.... address), before I convinced them to cancel my order.
They wanted to put the refund in my (freshly opened) account for future use, but I eventually managed for them to send the refund to PayPal.
So far so good, on 28/10/2020 the order was cancelled and refunded to my PayPal account.

But what do the suckers do?
On 29/10/2020, after 10 (TEN) days, they finally send some driver to collect my (by then cancelled) order!
Obviously he didn't get anything and he then claimed there was nobody home!

On their own website they have one fantastic review after another (probably all made by the same person, but using different localities...)
But look elsewhere for reviews, and it looks quite different! See for yourself.

That was painful indeed. I think you may count yourself lucky the trouble started before they collected your order

Around May 2020 Hermes UK was for 3 days putting parcels on wrong trucks due to label printing issues - and they were similarly impossible to contact. I was on the receiving end but apparently there was no way for sellers to contact them either. Interestingly enough in about 40 days they did deliver my parcel - a 08/08 nVidia 15.4 T61, well the 128Mb video ram version.. Probably due to dire lack of outer packaging - layers of bubblewrap but no cardboard - the chassis ended up being bent (HDD won't go in) but that's arguably not their fault.. Make what you like out of it, but I have a healthy level of doubt in Hermes now.. Me and my fellow sufferers were peppering their Facebook posts with bitter sarcastic comments and memes then, there was no better recourse

HAPPY END:

EcoParcel sent me a full refund, but wasted a full 10 days.

Instead I sent my parcel to Spain via DPD
I dropped the parcel off on Tuesday 27/10/2020 late afternoon.
It was delivered in Spain on Tuesday 3/11/2020 in the morning.
And the customer is more than happy!
