He he, I'd say Reddit did help me through a depressed day or two. I even started to play "collect the karma" game. It's not difficult to collect points - make a lighthearted comment under a popular picture and be one of the first to do it. I managed to reach up to about 1.3k. Especially if better chances for human interaction are lacking Reddit can help somebody who feels down. Then all those cats on Thinkpads suddenly become a welcome treat.RealBlackStuff wrote: ↑Fri Jan 08, 2021 1:26 amI consider Reddit an abominable, badly (if at all) moderated, unorganised collection of mostly useless, numerously repeated questions, interspersed and spoiled by stupid kiddies, who have nothing better to do than post stupid pictures (called Stinkstagrams) of their laptops with a stupid cat or dog, or a stupid pencil, or whatever is the current stupid "flavour of the day"
Reddit is also quite good for fans of anime - of which I might be an emeritus one. Repeatedly seeing pics of your fav. characters - Reddit does deliver that without fail. Day in and day out.
It's because there are things I like about Reddit that its shortcomings pain me, especially the crippled searching abilities. Searching your own comments for something useful you said or a good link? No, impossible.
