ThinkPad RGB logo sticker

Does anyone know where I can find the ThinkPad RGB logo stickers that are on the ThinkPad T25? I contacted a few ebay sellers that are selling the silver ThinkPad stickers and the OG IBM ThinkPad stickers and they said no. I just contacted this seller and waiting to see. Yeah, I'd like to know as well. It seems that since this sticker had only ever been used on this one model, it did not gain enough traction for third parties to pick up the manufacturing.

That seller doesn't have them ether. It seem if you want them you'd have to buy two of those palmrest or the lcd lid and use a knife to carefully remove them. Not worth the price of two palmrest or lid just for the logo. I can make them but I rather have the OEM. I got silver paper and I can scan some of the loose ThinkPad logos I got and just add the rgb colors to the end. It is just thick paper that is gloss like photo printing paper. But you'd have to add your own double sided tape. It will not be factory quality but close enough.
The Silver ThinkPad logo is a clear plastic lettering with a silver adhesive double sided on the back to stick to the clear lettering and to the palmrest. I imagine it i the same with this logo.

Just will have to research online for them. I am sure that sticker is somewhere being made. There are sellers in HongKong ebay still selling the IBM ThinkPad badges still. So they must have a way of making these logos somehow. I can still get old Pentium II and III stickers from those sellers. Maybe if someone on here knows anyone over there that can make them, I'm sure a lot of ThinkPad lovers will buy them.

I actually just forgot. Since the ThinkPad logo is a clear see through lettering you already have that RGB logo. You just have to add the 3 colors to the last 3 letters. The plastic lettering is thick so it will not bend as easy when you remove your logo. The silver may come off though andmay interfere with the red dot on the i. I will test a print sometime this weekend and take a photo if it comes out good.

Nice, thanks for sharing! I wonder if it's same size, though. There have frequently been differences in the past, even in the IBM days, e.g., between T/R and X series...

It looks very well done. You have to be careful separating the layers, though. If you deform the top transparent sheet too much, it may not fit snugly and will end up peeling off.

That is weird, being that I thought that logo was only for the T25 only because it was to be the IBM 25th anniversary of the ThinkPad.

Just did the lid and the palmrest. It looks okay, but know it is a print and not a real sticker. I will keep it on there till they make new replacement stickers of these and start selling them next to the OG IBM ThinkPad and the Silver ThinkPad logo badges. I been contacting Asian market ebay sellers of these sticker badges, so maybe if they get asked a bit about it, they may try making them. So i'll be waiting.

Well I been contacting a few sellers and no luck. I don't know if the Hong Kong sellers are making those badges under license or for private making sales but so far don't have those replies. And looking closer to those badges, it looks like they are the size of what you'd find on the t4xx/t5xx and not size on t4xs.
So don't know if they come in different sizes, but I guess their was another Thinkpad that came in that badge. I think a Thinkpad e series I read about.

The Thinkpad 25 logo is exactly the same shape and size as the T470/T480 logo. They are interchangeable.

Are those badges the same size all the way back to the T400/T500 models and up minus the T4xxS? The TxxS I think are the size of the X series and any other smaller models they make.

The mainline T-series badge size increased between T420 and T430. I think the T430 may be the exact same size as all the way up to T480, but I'm not sure. T*00-T*20 are definitely different.

T430s retained the smaller size, while T430 did not. I think T440s already increased the size to match the standard T-series, but again I'm not 100% certain.

Just an update, I emailed a few ebay sellers to see if anyone can get these RBG badges. There is a lot of T25 lids and palmrests on ebay but no badges.
Not spending money on a lid and palmrest just to get the OEM RGB badge. So i'll try to wait and see.

Good news I think. I got a seller on ebay that said they do have them. I asked to make sure that they are the RGB ones and not the all silver ones. So we'll see when they reply back.
