MNT Reform Laptop

#1 Post by Omineca » Tue Sep 14, 2021 8:11 am

This is an old-school design. Thick as a brick with sculpted keys and the option of a trackball. It even appears to have user replaceable 18650 batteries.

Interesting contraption! System on chip that slides into SO-DIMM socket :)
But I wish it had 8Gb RAM not 4, too little RAM is why I ditched T60.

Further what size is this screen? I can't figure out from article or photo..
Keyboard layout might be a bit too avant-garde to my taste

I'm not sure what the screen size is... I'll have to do some more reading when I get finished working today. Edit: 12.5" IPS.

I don't know if that keyboard would work for me or not. I definitely hit the right end of the spacebar all the time, but I suspect I hit it right at the gap between ALT and Space on that keyboard.
