Is PC100 memory at CL2 faster than PC133 at CL3??

If I'm understanding this right (?), it occurred to me that PC100 memory running with a CAS latency of 2 would be faster than PC133 memory running with a CAS latency of 3...? Is this correct... or what am I missing?

It depends on what kind of memory access you're doing.

If you're jumping around RAM, the lower latency of the CL2 will be faster.

If you're pulling a large segment of RAM contents out, or putting a large segment in, the higher bandwidth of the PC133 will be faster.

Thanks! That makes good sense.
