Royale Theme

#1 Post by ThinkPad R » Wed Apr 26, 2006 9:10 pm

This Energy Blue Theme was supposed to be designed only for Windows XP Media Center Edition...

but there were several efforts to introduce this into Windows XP.

One is called Royale Theme & you can download it off of google.

I didn't get any spyware. That's a good thing.

The theme is listed on softpedia as freeware and the download isn't even 1mb. I have it installed and running on my 600E just fine.

I'd do a screenshot if I had my T40 on, but I'm at work so I'll organise something in a couple of hours when I get home. I think the overall colour scheme is a lot more aesthetically pleasing than the Luna theme.

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Desktop-En ... inXP.shtml is where I downloaded it from; the screenshots there are pretty ordinary, so I'll make sure I get a My Computer window and the Start menu in my screenshot so you can all get a full picture. 8)

I dunno exactly what it is that makes me like it (I'd say it's mainly the milder blue of overall appearance)...but it's nice enough to keep me from using the Windows Classic skin.
