i would like to hide those in my opinion kinda ugly IBM logos.
i found http://www.polygfx.com/ and http://www.skynmobile.com/ but there must be more out there!
i especially want something to hide the IBM logo underneath the keyboard to the right...

Looking for a way to hide the IBM logo, in a Thinkpad forum might not provide the best results, but you can always try powdercoating, like in this thread, or just remove the IBM badge all together.

Re: lenovo facelift?
wait for a year and the IBM logo will most likely be gone, replaced by a lenovo logo, or just the word THINKPAD..spacefriend wrote:anyone know an online place to give your lenovo a facelift?

you can always use a piece of black electrical tape to cover the ibm logo..
or black nail polish..
or use an exacto knife to pry the logo off the thinkpad..
or leave it there as most users want the ibm logo..

Don't underestimate the value of the IBM logo... that is part of the resale value of your laptop.
Not to many people know of "Lenovo", or even "Thinkpad", but "IBM" is pretty much a household name (and a well regarded one in terms of quality and enterprise use).
When Lenovo drops the IBM branding, the value in those laptops is going to drop a bit. Simply because of the brand value.
