need a usb powered cable! any ideas?

hi there,

i recently got an external dvd writer (LaCie dvd +/- dl slim) and i have two cables to power it up (the data one and the power one)

the problem is that the power cable has a regular usb design, i really expected to be sg to fit in the powered usb port on my x40. like this i have only 2 usb ports, each on the other side..so its abit unconfortable.

anybody has any idea from where i could get a cable set to be able to use the powered up usb port which lays 2mm under the usb port?

i know that the lenovo multi burner usb has that kind of cable set, and other ext units, but no idea how to search for it, so any hints, link, would be more than helpfull!
