Annoying Sybase Anywhere software delaying Restart\Shutdown

#1 Post by red bioroid » Sun Jun 04, 2006 7:23 pm

I have 2 .exe or processes from a newly installed Sybase database program that just comes up when I initiate the Shutdown or Restart in WinXP. They would come to an End and the dialog box would stay there with a choice of End or Cancel.

I am so annoyed of it now, these 2 .exe doesn't need to be active until I execute them myself. If there any ways for WinXP Pro to remove them , or what's the fix.

I don't have anything in my Startup and I went to Admin Services, and I don't see anything that resemble this Sybase programs.

Any help is appreciated.

Type in msconfig in the "Run..." dialog then go to either the Starup tab or Services tab. Check for them in there...although they should be showing up in the Admin Services panel if that was the case to begin with. :?

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.
