Cat scares bear into climbing a tree. This article might do well to spice up your day!

Sounds just like my wife's cat.

Her cat attacked my sister's dog when they came to visit. Her cat actually jumped on the dog and stuck to it's side with all four paws, as if they were held on with velcro, hissing all the while.

This dog was never afraid of cats.....until that day.

Jack the cat had best watch his [censored] as that bear might come back with a coyote buddy.

That area of Jersey has many confirmed sightings of coyotes, which are slowly but surely decimating the local population of "outside" small dogs and cats.

We've got them in my area as well, but they've got the entire Pine Barrens to hunt in and haven't had much impact on the local domesticated fauna as yet.

It really spices up my day. Another story of David and Goliath.

The cat is apparently never bitten by a bear. That is why she is able to scare the bear off. Same to the bear.

This reminds me of how many larger dogs are afraid of small, yappy, hyper dogs.
