how to deal with malicious purchase on eBay?

#1 Post by bigtiger » Mon Jun 19, 2006 6:29 pm

I recently got a lot of malicious buy from eBay. Some guys will register few minutes before making any purchase and then made the purchase. Then I will receive email requestint me out-side-eBay purchase and asking me to send the item somewhere else.

Anybody experienced the same problem? how to deal with that?

Ignore the sender and report it to eBay to get a credit for your listing fees.

Or, simply insist on using whatever payment method you set up for the listing.

Thank you, James,

The bad thing is the bidder ended my item and I have to relist it but it ended my item again. I checked eBay community board, and found it happened a lot on eBay recently.

I currently try to set immediately payment required for BIN items.

I would also suggest our members here to do the same thing. It happened a lot recently on eBay and eBay is doing nothing.

It seems that somebody is using computer programs doing this. They will automatically send out emails but will never reply to you.
