Happy 4th!
Happy 4th!
Happy 4th of July everybody.
Hope everyone in the US is having a good holiday weekend.
For our friends from overseas, you all have a standing invitation to come visit us next year. I'll be sure to throw some extra Brats on the barbecue.
For our friends from OZ and NZ, happy mid-winter.
Regards,
James

Well, lucky you. It's in the 80s and during the day we were in the 100s over here and as a result, my outside trash can, even with lid down, smells like somebody stuffed a corpse in there (the can/bin is big enough to accomodate one if not more I'm sure) but luckily tomorow morning is trash collection. I'm sure Bill down in Florida is really having some fun heat right now if that state is anything like Georgia.

You *did* check to make sure that there was just garbage in there, right?AlphaKilo470 wrote:Well, lucky you. Florida at this time of year can be very, mmmmm, intense. Especially if the humidity is high; it gets to feeling that, in some areas, you think you could pull out a straw and drink directly from the air. I used to like that; then again, I have a wide range and tolerances for adapting to the climate.
Happy 4th everybody and take care.

I live in the hills over here, the easiest way I can tell is to watch the size and number of racoons that get into the bin.

Funny that while I read this post, it is still the 3rd of July here, and VERY early in the morning.JHEM wrote:Happy 4th of July everybody.

My final exam in a couple of hours, and I got this strange habit of always getting up early before an exam, to have a coffee and to re-read the whole stack of course notes...
Happy 4th of July to all Americans out there!

Speaking of the 4th, are there any exciting sales going on? Geeks.com has one, but, as usual, most of the items are still overpriced and not so interesting.

Well, I just got an e-mail from MicroCenter saying that they will be open tomorow for a big sale and knowing them, I'd be a duma** not to miss that. Last time I attended a big sale there I got away with a 100-pack of bank CDs free after rebate.

July 4th is the 15th anniversary of the senseless homicide of Dr Victor Chang, one of the pioneers in heart transplant medicine.

Well, now that it actually is the fourth of July, I'd like for all of our California viewers to be advised that the ground trembling isn't an earthquake but instead the fireworks in my front yeard (here in Georgia) as I made a nice trip to Alabama to stock up for this day.

I felt it over here...What do you have over there? Cherry Bombs and M80s? Here I was thinking the Hayward fault had finally gone and done it.
