Save CD image

#1 Post by Kyocera » Sat Jul 29, 2006 7:34 pm

I have several Sybex study guides on CD's that I purchased (with the books). It kind of erks me that I have to carry the cd's with me and install them on my computer everytime I want to study. Is there a way to save these on the pc? I have not contacted Sybex.

You might want to try making an ISO of them, then re-mounting them via Virtual CD. :)

Either that or you could grab the contextual content off the CD, then clear a part on your HDD and save it there. Although I assume a simple C&P has already been tried.

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.

I'm trying the iso now, it's burning so it may work, C&P won't work, these are locked up probably due to piracy of their material.

The sonic software that comes with the t60 is pretty good for burning tasks, i'll try the moonshine software.

I'll probably have to contact Sybex, their web seems to be on holiday right now.
