haha... It certainly is an impressive car. I was just saying that seeing two in one place doesn't happen too often. Also, they are chassis 1 number apart, so they were on the assembly line together.

The owner of the car on the right is also contemplating a CLK-GTR.

My daily driver is a 1994 Ford Taurus GL sedan. It is what I would call cobalt blue and all of the interior is blue. I replace the factory radio with a Sony that sounded really good on the factory speakers until I blew the rear ones out about 6 weeks ago. Bought some Pioneer speakers to replace the blown out ones. All of the work I did my self (and it wasn't a cake walk either!)

I oh so don't belong in this thread with all of you gorgeous car guys, I run a teeny purple (yes, it is purple James) 1995 Geo Metro.

 but hey James, I just saw this old post; I guess you're right - it was coral and tan. But in my little girl memories it was pink.

Some pretty nice cars on here, thats why I thought I better add mine.

First car, a real fast 85 dodge omni, topped out at 135. Kms that is, in case you don't do conversions this is approx 83 mph which is also known as good highway speed lol. Every time it rained water would leak in the windshield onto the drivers lap.

Then I moved up, theres no other way to go after an omni, to a 91 ford escort, top spead 145. And this was with 415,000 kms under her belt.

And now I actually have a reasonable car, 97 Eagle Talon base model. Even though it is base it is still pretty darn fast. Top speed is 120 almost as big a number as the other car's except this time it is in mph.

Some day in the future I'll own a nice car, probably after around six years of university and then a few years of hard work. Can't even say what I would want then though because it would probably be crap by then.

One car I wouldn't mind owning is a corvette, I've driven a 2003 corvette, 50th anniversary edition it was pretty nice, lots of kick. And my I really wish I owned this car would have to be a Noble M15.

...So do I. They basically owned the 2 door luxury coupe market after Ford stopped the Tbirds Cougars and Mark VIII's. The only thing about these Accords is that they are very chick friendly and hence I could never own one. But that was really my loss, they are nice cars all around.

New Altima Coupe by Nissan is a pretty impressive looking car.

http://www.nissanusa.com/altimacoupe/?d ... c=21286185

I think it will give the Accord/Solara etc. a run for their money.

Fancy push-button ignition too. I bet they will start putting them in the minivan line too.

Any bikers around here?! My "daily driver" is a 2000 Suzuki SV650S -- the Japanese 'Ducati'. The L-twin is a real gem, and with an aftermarket rear shock (Ohlins) it actually handles :) Of course, there is a Mazda MPV (2001) for the rest of the family . . .

Pretty much a die-hard BMW guy myself-I think I have had about 8 different models in the last 7 years or so...

Here are the two that are currently in the stable:

My weekend/fun car-1988 BMW M3. The REAL M3!!
Image
And my daily driver I picked up just over a month ago-right in time for the gas prices to shoot up! It's a 2002 BMW X5 4.4i with sport package, premium package, navigation, and 20" BMW Style 87 wheels with Toyo Proxes tires. Never been an SUV (SAV) type of guy, but I am in love with this thing!

I lost count...

Does anyone here have an Infiniti?

Here's mine (a 1994 J30):
http://www.villagephotos.com/pubbrowse. ... id=1876267

I'll have some more exterior photos later on.

I actually just bought the car yesterday and it's a real fixer upper (I've already put many hours into cleaning the interior and into getting the car to run just right; now I get to find the bad wiring spots) and the exterior paint is in pretty bad shape. I'll take it some place to be professionally detailed after my next paycheck. The engine sounds great (loud too) and after replacing the old battery connectors (the junky looking ones seen in the photos), the engine starts without a hitch. The car turns at a pretty sharp angle and all four wheels have disc brakes. The leather seats are heated and the programmable AC makes driving in the summer feel enjoyable.

Nice bimmers Eric. I may be getting my fathers BMW soon, he will be getting a new one, and the Audi will go to my sister. Love the M3 and its BBS wheels.

I will have to change my user name to Non-Turbo BMW?

I believe I have yet to post my Audi in here, for I have no pics of it!

But here is my old 3000GT with a dumb speed blur using GIMP 2.

I purchased my first set of wheels over the weekend - $6300 Australian on this (they're phone pics - haven't had the time to get the camera out and take better photos):

It's a 1992 Ford Telstar TX5 Ghia (based on a Mazda 626), 2 litre 4 cylinder, 4 speed auto, power everything (except the seats), and it has only travelled 65000km (or 40k miles). Almost totally immaculate inside and out, and most of my friends who knew not much about cars thought it was at least 5 or 6 years younger than its actual age.

Eventually I want to get some wider rims (only has 14" on it at the moment) and have a look at what I can do with the stereo, but for now I don't quite have the funds to do anything unless I sell my A31p (which I am NOT).

A classic car buff, and a transplanted European here, that learned to drive on a '69 BMW 2000Tii...ancient history, I know....

Daily drivers-nothing too impressive whatsoever:

a) '96 Jetta GL 5-speed
b) '00 Honda Odyssey LX (three small kids...)

Sitting in a garage some 6,000 miles away...don't have the funds to get them here, and no one over there has made any serious offers...

a) '56 MB 220A (nice but modified)
b) '65 Citroen DS 21 Pallas (bone stock, running resto)
c) '70 Peugeot 304S Convertible (nice and unmolested)
d) '75 Citroen D Special (nice, slightly modified)

So threads like this just make me sigh...

Many moons ago I was the proud owner of one of the very rare 1966 Glaserati cars ( Glas 2600 V8 ).
It's the one car I wished I had never sold...

My father had a 1966 Glas 1700 TS http://www.goggo-glasfahrer-dgf.de/gfg_frm.htm
and many years later I managed to 'best' him with mine.

Wow! Impressive rides over here 8) I won't bother you with my history (that included a.o. a Volvo 262C Bertone, some Alfa's and a lot of company cars).

My current Daily Driver in winter setup (phone pics):

Got rear-ended by a van with a bull bar  So I had to replace the scratched bumper:

Summer setup (before lowering)

250 BHP, 359.100 kilometers now...

For fun, I own two 240 Turbos. Bought the first one (it was a bit rusty, for the not so faint-hearted and a good internet connection: http://www.volvo850forum.nl/index.php?topic=10024.135). Got the second from a friend as a donor, but it's in even worse shape

Project, current status (yes, lowering springs and shocks are ready to be mounted):

And finally, there is this Mad Max machine..

I wish there was a serious successor to the TP570..
