Same old thing but with much cooler graphics. I got 2.5mb/s which is decent but definitely not great. I used to work for a telco where I would sometimes get 10mb/s to my desk.

is that download speed on a wired or wireless thinkpad? on my desktop i'll get 8000 kb/s download, but using wifi I end up with 3500 kb/s. not that you actually see those speeds anyway.

i use speakeasy.net/speedtest. it's also kinda nice looking.

On Thinkpad Atheros wireless using what was probably the first wireless router ever made - the Netgear MR314.

Like I said, pretty decent.

3.334Mbps download speed in the QANTAS Club lounge at Sydney airport over a 802.11b wireless link... not too bad at all.
