Are you considering buying a non-Thinkpad laptop?

The only Apple notebook I've ever really, really liked was the old 12" Powerbook G4. The titanium keyboard felt cool to the touch and was great to type on. It was a bit heavy for its size, but it had the nice alloy case and an optical drive. If Apples didn't hold their value so well I would probably buy one.
