Your dream garage...
What cars would you have in your ultimate garage, limiting it to 5 cars?
For me, id have to go with:
1. Mercedes SLR-McLaren as the "Daily Driver"
2. Ferrari F430 Spider as the weekend car / in-town car
3. Porsche 911 Turbo (997) as the fun car / road trip car
4. Mercedes S600 (W221) as the Winter Car / People Mover
5. Circa 1957 Ferrari 250GTO as the classic

If it contains a car I didn't pay for, that runs on fuel I don't have to pay for, everything else after that is icing!mfratt wrote:What cars would you have in your ultimate garage

Another thread about fantasy cars, eh? This is, as BillB. states, if I didn't have to pay for gas and maintenance
1.) Porsche 911 Turbo
2.) Ferrari F430
3.) Lamborghini Murcielago
4.) Benz S500 or BMW M3
5.) Aston Martin DB12 Vanquish
6.) 599 GTB Fiorano
More as I think of them, although I think I should be pretty happy with that lot up there for the time being.

My list is a little more simplistic:
1. 1967 Alfa Romeo Duetto Spider - candy apple red (like my dad used to own)
2. 1966 Ford Mustang - primer gray with a 429 (muscle car).
3. 1966 Ford Mustang - red convertable classic style (all original with a 289, for sunday drives)
4. 1942 Packard - Super Eight 180 Cabrolet
5. 1985 Delorean (ala Back to the Future)

1. 2002 Subaru WRX STi
2. 1967 Shelby GT500
3. 1969 Chevy Camaro
4. 2002 Acura NSX-R
5. 1994 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II
Actually, I'd like something like a Honda Fit for day-to-day driving (small, easy to parallel park, good gas mileage, lots of carrying capacity), but with a nastily fast car in the garage for weekend fun.

Anyway... In no particular order
1. 2007 Chevy Impala Police Package, My response car or "Hooptie"
2. 1971 Corvette convertible
3. An old GTO, don't matter which year
4. 1969 Mustang fastback - for the wife
5. Delorian - just for the "neat" factor

Some of you want fantasy cars in your fantasy garage . . .
asiafish, BMW 2002tii production years were 1972-1974 and it has mechanical fuel injection. There was a 1600ti with dual carbs in 1967 and a 2002ti with dual carbs later, and there were 4-door Neue Klass 1600ti and 2000ti models.
mfratt, Ferrari 250 GTO production years were '62-'64.
And Israel, how can you claim to be an Audi freak and leave out the best of all the Quattros, the Audi Sport Quattro? My friend has this particular 1985 example . . .

Sorry, my mistake. I meant to say the 250TR, which was late 50's. I know the 250GTO is a more desirable car because of their low production numbers, but I just love the 250TR with the long nose. Mmmmm.mfratt, Ferrari 250 GTO production years were '62-'64.
