Dell and Mastercard advertising campaign idea

#1 Post by Thinkpaddict » Tue Aug 29, 2006 5:05 pm

I am going to pitch an idea for one of the popular Mastercard commercials featuring Dell:

Internet Connection: $25.00

Dell laptop purchased from Dell.com: $750.00

Taxi to the hospital: $20.00

Remembering to wear your asbestos underpants when using your new Dell notebook: Priceless

Is this going to fly? :P

This is, of course, ignoring the significant possibility of the Dell going critical whilst on an airplane....I think, in such a case, you might get a free trip to the Feds' version of Club Med with your own "Private entourage." Truly priceless. :D

Thusly, as an addendum;

Trying to answer questions about your " subversive terrorist plot of using a common Dell as an IED" during interrogation for 24 hours under several curiously bright lamps to several individuals in all black: Priceless....

There are some things that money can't buy...including dignity as the case may be here.

For everything else, there is Mastercard

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.

New XPSM1710 with intel core 2 duo: $2,300
