Do Thinkpads Dream of Electric Sheep?

If anyone has read the book, which I strongly recommend, you will get a good idea behind the basis of the following screensaver.

http://electricsheep.org/

I have been using that as a screensaver for awhile now and, I must say, it is pretty good. :)

Even better is when you are listening to reall good music when hooked up to a large display with the lights off except for the CCFLs in certain foot/ceiling spotlights to project shadows on the walls; and, NO, in case you are wondering, this has nothing to do nor indicates I spent my time throwing a party or some such when I wasn't here.

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.

This screensaver seems to be a clone of Geiss from Ryan Geiss (one of the guys who works on WinAmp) that has been around since the late 90s I think - I remember running the original Geiss on a 90MHz 16MB? Pentium Toshiba Satelite laptop that was state of the art back then. That puppy had an 890MB hard drive that I never managed to fill.

I don't miss it though, the screen broke within a couple of weeks of my buying it (not from the manufacturer) and I was forced to turn it into a desktop since replacing the screen would have cost more than a new machine.
