Yahoo Mail problem

Hi all. I recently opened up a Yahoo email account and was going to attaching a file to a message to send. However, when i clicked the attach file tab, the window did not acknowledge my click and nothing happened. As far as I can tell, I can tell, I can't attach files on Yahoo mail using Firefox though I can with other email providers, such as hotmail and squirrelmail. Can someone help me in diagnosing this problem? Btw, I own a T43. Thanks

Sounds like maybe Firefox has Java and/or Javascript disabled. Click Tools/Options/Content (Firefox 1.5.0.7) and make sure both Java and Javascript are checked.

I read one post somewhere else (not on this board) that implied a problem with Yahoo mail and Firefox 2. I wonder if that was true... and if so, that's what's going on here... ??

Try to attach your file in Yahoo! using IE browser and see if the same problem reoccur.
Did you set your firewall to disallow attachments using Firefox browser?

hmm attachments do work over IE and yes, I do use Firefox 2.0 though I had the same problem with the older versions of Firefox, I just had not gotten around to troubleshooting it. As for firewalls...I use Zonealarm, what can I tweak to allow Yahoo Mail attach files over Ffox? I mean, I already allow Ffox thru the firewall.
