More questions about the continued use{full, less}ness of hw

#1 Post by jruschme » Sun Jan 07, 2007 12:14 pm

Well, thanks to the group, I've found homes for two of my Palm IIIs.

This encouraged me to take a look at the box of PCMCIA/Cardbus cards left over from various bits people have given me.

Some still seem very useful, such as the cardbus 10/100 cards (3C575) and even the non-cardbus ones (3C574).

OTOH, I discovered that in amongst the v.90 modem cards (old-style with cable, not XJack), were a couple of 33.6 modems and even three 14.4 modems (two original XJack and one AT&T Keep-In-Touch).

I'd thought of posting some of the extra cards in the Marketplace, but wondered if there was even any point of offering the pre-v.90 modems. Would anyone be able to use one or are they better suited for use as a coaster?

Thanks...

I could use that Cardbus 10/100 card. If you PM me, we can work out the details. :)
