Could not find any info about this here with the search function, if it is a duplicate post then could one of the mods delete it please?

This is kind of cool, makes up for a laptops usually deficient graphics processors
It will be cool if they actually make them available to the masses for a decent price.

I smell bottleneck when it comes to getting the information to and from the GPU. The Expresscard slots are going to have a tough time meeting that required bandwidth that PCI Express needs.

Bottlenecking aside, run anything else through the Southbridge of any importance and you will notice it, there is the little issue of it actually needing an external monitor.

So, at best, it would remain a dockable solution to any GPU req's higher than those of the laptop, but there are already docks that do that. Which then makes it a performance/cost comparison between it and a dock that can take a graphics card.
