Is that to say that a USB CD drive on the dock would be accessible from the R400 (steal a ThinkPad name why don't ya) wirelessly? Wow.

dsigma6, yes and more! It is even possible to take svideo out from the dock and connect it to a TV. All one needs to is get the laptop near the dock. Wireless magic indeed.

The part I like best is not have to fiddle with having to press and prod the laptop onto the docking station. I always fear that I might press too much when I try to use my X31 on the X3 ultrabase.

I had the same fear with a T23. It would only snap into place if an unusually high amount of pressure was applied to both the top left and right corners. It seemed a pound of pressure away from cracking.

This didn't seem possible a number of years ago, so why not the wireless battery stuff we always laugh at? :D

Somehow i doubt it will have enough bandwidth/low enough latency/etc. Gamers would hate it, in any case  (don't they always?)
