Mike, thanks for that reply, I will check out these things you mention. For years when I was young, I would watch M.A.S.H. with my Dad, just me and him; I think in his way he was trying to put to rest some horrors which he could not get past. I know I caught some tears in his eyes more than once. I am not for war, in the least  , but the crushed people it leaves behind must be healed. It is good to get educated about the realities of those times, to try to understand the people who survived them and help them if we can.

EDIT: I love Antique Road Show, I keep hoping I'll find some buried treasure in my DH's attic!!

He is defiantly smart. I could not even pronounce the titles of some of the books on his desk. Science stuff.

Great photo PW, it is extremely sharp. May I ask what digital camera you used, also, the brand of that gorgeous piano?

My 1st digicam was the DSC-p32 - pretty good little camera for something that didn't have an optical zoom. I gather that you would be able to play that elegant Steinway behind you too, PW?

Okay, great minds think alike, I own the 5MP Sony DSC-5; my husband would droll over that Steinway, ours is a Baldwin Grand. You're lucky. :D

....and now, my pictorial debut!

...and for those who want to know, it's my sister's hat.

That room doesn't exist in my house anymore, actually. It was combined with the living room to make extra space in the house for my father to maneuver his wheelchair.

Can I claim "T23" then?

Although it's not any shorter than "Ray" and has more syllables...

I don't think so. People might think he's 23 years old, or was born in 1923!
