#1 Post by Purcy » Sun Feb 25, 2007 10:07 am

I read several people talk about the headphones they love in the speaker thread, but what about bluetooth headphones - I really want a quality pair, but under $100 8)

Any one of the Plantronics Discovery models.

You can often find them for under $100 and there are none better.

I bought myself a BH-500 from Nokia, just a little "box" with a mini-jack out.. So you can use your favorite set of headphones..
Bluetooth stereo from laptop to it, and headset profile on my phone. Works great :-)

Edit: Sorry, did not know that it was a bit pricey, $145@amazon :(

If you're willing to gamble $25!

I have no experience with the Plantronics Explorer series of BT headsets, but this might be a nice inexpensive solution to your search.

James, that's cool but it is just a headset, I was looking for stereo headphones.

No problem now, as I am going to remain wired. I just got my new Sennheiser Street MX51 earbuds that I ordered (on sale) and they are just superb, at least to me. They fit so well inside the ear and block most outside noise, fits comfortably. The added bass is very noticeable, which is what I wanted. I was looking for something for my PDA to listen to music and carry the headphones in my purse. You know women, they carry everything except the kitchen sink in their purses. Aye Aye Captain 8)
