Anyone Live Near Lawrenceville, GA?

#1 Post by JHEM » Sat Mar 10, 2007 11:55 am

Do any of our Atlanta region brethren live near Lawrenceville?

I'm considering an Atlanta area Craigslist purchase and was wondering if anyone would consider picking it up for me, paying cash (which I'd front) and then ship it up north. Small package, shoebox size, around two pounds or so.

I'd feel more comfortable relying on someone from the Forum shipping the item to me rather than some "stranger".

Thanks Steve, I was aware of them but am hoping to hear from someone closer.

Nor do I want to impose by asking, so I'm looking for a "volunteer".

James, just a thought - I think UPS does Will Calls at homes for items; you would need to contact UPS and give a credit card and the address of the pickup. ?? :D

Thank you Milady, but that would be a path of last resort. I would like the person who retrieves the package to check the contents, something UPS, Fedex, etc. don't do.

Oh you obviously haven't gotten my UPS driver, some of my packages look like he did a nice inspection of them for me :? At least nothing was missing or damaged though. I think if I was a UPS driver, I'd want to snoop in everyone's packages, I'm a natural neb.
