That's correct, but if you're trying to sell it, you should be more specific about these specs:

1.6GHz Pentium 4
1x256MB PC133 memory, with one empty slot
80GB 7200rpm HDD with 8MB buffer

Just wanted to compare it with my T40 when it comes next thursday.

I will try to play some games on the T40 like "Half Life' and Freedom Fighter" If not l will have to find some games that l can play on the T40.

Thanks

They will probably be comparable. The T40's Pentium M is faster than the desktop's Pentium 4, but its hard drive is probably only 5400rpm. How much memory will the T40 have?

Alan, going back to your "Buy it now on ebay $399" thread, I found that your T40 will have 1x512MB of RAM (AKA "memory"). It should be PC2100, which is faster than your desktop's PC133. 512MB of RAM is also much better than 256MB for Win XP. So, besides the hard drive speed, the T40 will be faster than the desktop in every other way. It's a good upgrade!

This is the T40 that l bought!

#7 Post by kingman99 » Sun Apr 01, 2007 5:05 pm

The first one that l bought had a pixel problem and had to send it back.

The seller sounded legit and his feedback was 100% and took the time to pick the T40 up and go over every detail with me. Again l was not looking to get a steal but pay a fair price and get what l want which is a flawless LCD. Why save $100 or less and not be happy. My 600x is also flawless (LCD).
