This has been the most exciting playoff season that I can remember.

Warriors- WOW! I've watched every game, and I hadn't seen even 1 regular season Golden State game! I found myself staying up till after 1AM the other night, hoping the Warriors would win (thankfully they did).

It's good to see a powerhouse like the Mavs getting tossed around, but I'm sure Dallas will pound the Warriors in game 5.

Chicago...that was great, but I didn't see Miami winning. They were lackluster for a while. I don't want Detroit to beat them, but I think that's gonna be Detroit in 5.

As for your Cavs...you know they got lucky for the first round! (ie. no Gilbert Arenas). They're a good team, but I think Jersey (probable opponent) will handle them fairly easily.

Being german, I'm kind of a fan of the Mavs. However, my sympathy is shifting dramatically towards the Warriors. I never saw them playing during the regular season, my loss! They are so much fun to watch, just like the Suns! Well, then there are the Bulls. Impressive how the beat the Heat... I will definitely go to at least on game when they host the Pistons. Will be my first NBA basketball game I watch live in an Arena!

I am 100% buckeye so im happy to see the Cavs in the playoffs. I watch alot of NBA so its no surprise to me the Bulls handling the Heat. The Cavs have been pretty inconsistent through the year so I think the series against the Nets will be a good one. Also, Detroit and Chicago will be something to see. Bulls have that confidence, but Detroit has the experience, should be fun to watch. My Lakers once again are showing how sorry they are in the playoffs and especially against the suns. As far as Dallas goes, HUGE disappointment, and as far as the Warriors go they haven't exactly tore it up this season. They are the 8 seed for a reason but they have had their way with Dallas all year. But what about the Rockets, i say go ROCKETS tear up on Utah. I thought the Nuggets would give the Spurs some trouble and they sorta started out that way, but they dont have enough to hold off the Spurs. Dsigma6 do you really think the Nets will handle the Cavs easily? thats crazy talk.

Hey now, I said fairly easily!

If my local team was in the playoffs and someone said they'd be beaten "fairly easily," I wouldn't oblige either. I don't like Cleveland (don't dislike them either), and the Nets are a local rival, but either way..

The Warriors certainly weren't the best team in the west, but finishing 9-1 gave them some momentum to face Dallas. Hopefully the Warriors can keep at them tonight, since coming back from 20 down to get within 7. They better make the freethrows on the technical called on Dirk at the end of the first half.

12:45AM edit: Well that was corny. The Warriors showed their inexperience towards the end, but the Baron Davis foul out was BS, as it didn't even look like he touched the guy. MVP Dirk is playing 10 minutes of ball each night, but hey, he's still the best, right?

Warriors+home court= Bye Mavericks! Cuban will surely have a heart attack.

yea, the mavs are definitely the colts of NBA except the fact that the colts actually won the super bowl. It did take them a few tries at it so i guess next year will be the Mavs turn? oh yea cuban will be on fire for sure and mouthing off about the refs or something after the game for sure.

Having watched the suns for the last 2 years via the net I was optomistic we could reach the Finals but we are unlucky with injuries last year and suspension this year. We need some luck to go our way :?

Looks like I'm eating my words dealing with the nets beating the cavs...Well dare I say who they face in the next round (if it's Detroit!) will handle them easily!!

Too bad for the Suns Stoudemire got suspended...they're going to miss him tonight for sure, but they can survive without him. Someone else will have to play big. Dude was right about the Spurs playing dirty...and Horry made it quite clear.

[censored] you Warriors. How disappointing is that, especially when it could've easily been a 3-1 series lead in their favor. They need to take maturity classes.

Did the cavs look like garbage tonight or what? Dsigma6 your Nets might make this interesting, beat the stinkin cavs away. Cavs only scored 79 points. Thats just not gonna get it done. And where were the Bulls hiding all this energy at in the first 3 games against the pistons? Young team same problem with the Warriors....

Ouch!! NOT my Nets!! I just thought they could beat the Cavs. LeBron and Co. definitely looked like crap tonight, and I enjoyed the brick-fest in the fourth quarter...even though NJ only scored 5 points in the fourth, that was still enough to win by 11...

I didn't watch the Spurs/Suns last night, but Barkley said the Suns would win. I wish he was right about that one.

I don't see the Bulls making the miraculous comeback, especially against Detroit. Unless they've magically fallen apart and lost their teamwork as a whole (which they didn't), the Bulls can't win.

However, looking at NBA.com, the Bulls are the first team in NBA history to lose the first three, then go on to win two straight- so maybe they have something going for them. Good luck!!

Here's a funny quote from NBA.com, from Mikki Moore of the Nets:

"If they want to take offense to a little love tap, that's their problem. It's a man's sport. I didn't try to hurt the boy. The boy went to the basket and I gave him a playoff foul."

-- New Jersey's Mikki Moore talking about his Game 4 flagrant foul on Sasha Pavlovic prior to Game 5.

yea 5 points in the 4ht quarter.... HILARIOUS! the problem is they still won, thats pathetic. Interesting game tonight with spurs/suns. Im not sure who i want to win. I dont really like tim duncan or the flopper(ginobili) very much but i do like the spurs. they play tough and everybody knows it, but we'll see.

My hopes:

Warriors move on: WRONG!

Nets move on: WRONG!

Suns move on: WRONG!

Bulls move on: WRONG!

Well, I'm glad I haven't made any monetary wagers! Good thing the Spurs won game 1 vs. Utah. Utah needs to go home!

Spurs- 2007 Champs!!

what were your choices based on? did you watch any regular season games? Nets and Warriors were like 7th and 8th seeds? The only reason the warriors made it to the playoffs was the last game of the regular season. if they would have lost they would't have gone anywhere. the only one i got you on is the Bulls. But, for what it counts i did think the mavs were gonna go to at least conf. finals. BLAH

Oh I know most of them were underdogs, but I didn't pick them based on that. I just liked those teams compared to the competition!

My picks were good for the first round, but after that things got shaky. Thanks goodness Detroit held off Cleveland last night...Did LeBron forget to play?

I've absolutely detested Detroit for the past 5 years, but I like them now, at least for a month longer.

ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!? Pistons just let the Cavs right back in this and now the Cavs got momentum and confidence. Thats a bad thing for a streaky team like the Cavs. Either way it goes, neither the Pistons or the Cavs have ANY chance against the Spurs. Trust me, i hate to admit that.

I am crazy.

I just don't like the Cavs. Despite their record, to me they just don't seem like a team people want to see in the finals. Detroit Vs. San Antonio, now that's a nice matchup. Everyone is still going to pick the Spurs, but it should be more entertaining.

I started to feel bad for the Jazz, then I realized I still hate them for the whole Golden State thing.

Bolshevik!

I can't believe I actually stayed up to watch the 2OT LeBron James show. It's funny how I started looking at Detroit as MY team, even though I've hated them for a while. They just completely let me down.

I've gotta say, Chauncey Billups needs to stop with the patented Allen Iverson jump-at-the-guy-to-get-fouled-but-miss-the-shot-with-no-foul BS! In the last two games, if he would've just taken his shot instead of leaning in for the foul, he probably would've made them, and won the game.

We all know that a one man team is no good, but good Lord he took over...What was it, 26 of their last 27 points, he scored? LeBron is insane.

Those two dunks near the end when he penetrated with ease were embarrassing for Detroit. The fact that they can't guard him, even when the double team, sucks big time.

Im more than upset that i didnt get to watch the game, im in the middle of moving! All i heard today was about the game and how lebron scored 50 in 20t's to win. i would love to have been watching that instead of crusing in the big nasty moving truck. GO CAVS!!!!

a certain somebody just a few posts up had this to say about detroit and the cavs
Well dare I say who they face in the next round (if it's Detroit!) will handle them easily!!
now after all of that maybe this series with spurs will be a lil closer than people think. if the cavs can rattle the pistons like that, they certainly have a chance against the spurs. cavs have to take spurs out of rhythm. thats their only chance, well that and tim duncan getting hurt. but i dont wish injury on anybody, so i hope they beat a well rested spurs team!

CAVS is my home team as I'm an international student studying here in Cleveland.

As I acknowledge, this is the 1st time in history the team has the chance to go to the NBA Final. Certainly, this is their 1st chance to learn a brand new stage, as they consider themselves newbies compare to the SPURS who have won 3 finals, more mature.

Both teams are well-deserved for what they have accomplished thus far and I cheer for them. I have many friends in Texas and we really have a good time.

We all hope the CAVS going to play better and we will have a nice final. The NBA Final now is more attractive to me because it's now not only the all-time stage for big teams but to other teams, there're certainly hopes. :D
