WOW....256 GB and solid state! I don't even want to think about how much that is going to cost. I'm curious when people think solid state drives will completely replace platter drives (if at all).

I am pretty sure i will be a somewhat early adopter of flash drives in my notebook. I am tired of my hard drives crapping out. It seems like every laptop I have owned has had HDD failure. Although there is a maximum number of writes with flash chips, so maybe I'm no better off.

I think that 256GB text looks like a Photoshop job.

I would love an SSD drive in PATA format for my T41p. Otherwise it's not going to happen for me.
