Why I love ThinkPads

Today, I woke up this morning to find my X30 under the right wheel of my father's 300 pound wheelchair. Apparently, my brother moved the chair to open our front door and didn't see that my X30 was on the floor nearby.
Slightly distressed, I moved the wheelchair out of the way and examined the ThinkPad. The frame was bent slightly, so I opened it up to see if the LCD was cracked. I turned it on, and was pleasantly surprised to see that the screen was fine! I was even able to bend the frame back into place (OK, there is a slight bend, but nothing very noticeable). These machines are wonderful (and seem indestructible!)

And the X30 doesn't even have a rollcage for the display lid! Like I've been saying, the rollcage in the T61 display lid is unnecessary.
