I read kt as carat, but owning a 24 kiloton nuclear-powered ThinkPad would be too awesome for words, and would probably allow you to get many great discounts from Lenovo.rek wrote:Am I the only one that read the topic as "24 kiloton" (as in tactical nuke) laptop?
carat is abbreviated "ct." iirc

ct. is a measure of WEIGHT (Diamonds, etc)rek wrote:Am I the only one that read the topic as "24 kiloton" (as in tactical nuke) laptop?

kt. is a measure of "Content/purity" :
24kt= "100%" gold
18kt = ~75% gold
FWIW: 18kt and 24kt gold tend to be NICE but they are too soft (soft metal) in pure form -once you turn it into a "brick" it is a different story-..LOL
