Problem with Firefox

Recently I noticed that after Firefox has been maximized, closed, opened again and then tried to use the restore button to get it back down to it's smaller size it doesn't work.

Has anybody had a similar problem? Any ideas on how to fix it?

I take all that back. I just updated Firefox and the problem was solved.

Hum... Firefox is at 1.0 now.

I guess the update has jack you upto 1.0 already. And yes it rocks: it fixed some tiny problems like jerkky scrolling by arrow keys / spacebars.

I like firefox...using it now, but there are a few quirks I don't like. For instance, when typing like this in a forum, the cursor stays so close to the last letter typed, that sometimes its' hard to read the last letter when you stop typing. Also, I don't particularly like the "save file" option. It seems to want to give you a window to "clean" out the folder you are saving to....don't understand the logic behind this. Somethings just get saved too....you don't have a choice to slect the folder you want to save in. Just a few annoyances, but over-all....I don't use I.E. anymore unless I have to.

On the other hand, Firefox is far from perfect.

Like whne you've 10 tabs alll have Flash advertisement, ... Firefox will consume like 30% of CPU cycle, even on a 2.6GHz Pentium 4 desktop PC.

Therefore I cannot live Firefox running when I'm playing action games.

Unfortunately, I downloaded and upgraded from 1.0PR to 1.0, and most of my extensions don't have a version for 1.0 yet, so this program feels nothing like my beloved Firefox!

yeah...same here...., even worse, now my middle scoll button doesn't work anymore. I've searched and encountered numerous threads with this scroll button issue with firefox, but, it seems like no one has a definite answer to the scroll problem.
That, and the fact that the autofill extension for 1.0 is not yet available, I'd like to reinstall 1.0PR. anyone knows how to do this?...or how to get the scroll button to work? Thanks thanks thanks in advance.

Middle button scrolling works for me, either before and after uninstalling Microsoft IntelliPoint 5.2.

Works for me to. No scroll button complaints here. Scroll wheel on mouse works, scroll button on TP works, scrolling on the touchpad works, wheel "click" and up or down on my Intellimouse works. Everything's a go.

That's why I downgraded to .9 again. I wait for a while until all my beloved extensions are upgraded, too. Will just be hard to find out again what effect was caused by which extension...

That's a pretty bad move, since any version before 1.0 has tons of known security holes.

Never had any problems. Before 1.0 it was one of the safest browsers already, so I am not that worried...
