Greetings

#1 Post by Core Share » Thu Nov 15, 2007 8:05 am

Hello

Glad to have found the forum. 8)

This is a portmanteau post, to say hello and check that the profile is sorted.

The recent happy owner of a X60s. Which appears to me to be the peak of evolution - in that it's the last ThinkPad model to sport the "IBM" Logo and also the last to ship with Windows XP pre-installed.

I sought out a X60s in preference to a X61s, for these reasons. :D

Best Regards

Hoping that the T L F (Thinkpad Liberation Front) will arise to restore sanity and sense to Thinkpad design principles.

It wasn't the last on both instances.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.
