how to get rid of google default lenguage?
so im in poland, but im used to English language. i find it extremely annoying that every time i go on google website i get everything in Polish. Now there is an option to change google into english but this only works for a couple of times and then it goes back into google in polish.
anyway to cheat google to think that im accessing their website from U.S.?

Go into Control Panel/Regional and Language Options.
Set your Regional Options to English (United States).
Set your Location (at the bottom) to United States.
In Google check all the options (Advanced Search, Preferences, Language Tools) and set them to English.
That should do the trick.

www.live.com is a Micro$oft search engine, obviously with different (and less comprehensive) results than Google.
That would definitely give you English results.
Come to think of it, before I moved from Ireland to the USA, I wanted to make google.COM my default search, but somehow Google always changed this to google.IE (for Irish English). No way to change this.
On one of the Google settings pages there is a note:
Setting preferences will not work if you have disabled cookies in your browser.
Do you allow for cookies?

for anyone who is outside U.S. and is annoyed by google's default usage of that country's language, there is a simple solution.
use firefox's start up page in IE7 (http://www.google.pl/firefox?client=fir ... S:official)
the language will be by default English.
EDIT: my mistake, it doesnt work in IE7 but works in FF... so i guess im making a nice switch back to the dark side.
one more thing, changing languages in the options only seems to work for a little while and then it gets reset...

Select preferred languages in your web browser. You can also use link in your favorites like: http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en

Force login in any language: https://www.google.com/reader/view/?hl=en
Replace last two letters with desired language code.
For Firefox you can use an add-on called customizegoogle,
with which you can set the interface language to English or whatever you want it to be.
See if this is of any help as well:
