I've got an old Gateway SOLO 9300. It's probably 15 yrs old and runs WIN98SE. I bought some additional memory for it about 6 months ago. I was using the machine this past week (my T30 died) and realized one of the memory sticks is now dead and I'm back to 128MB of RAM. I "think" the OE stick has died and the replacement I purchased is still functional. I need to verify this.
OK, I purchased some additional RAM this past week (CL2, 128MB, PC133, SODIMM, SDRAM, etc.) and it arrived yesterday. I was surprised to open the package and find 10 sticks, but it was CL-3, not CL-2.

I haven't broken the seal on the package. Should I remove both sticks currently installed in the machine and replaced with two of these CL-3 sticks? Is the machine likely to run or is it going to be a long-term problem?
Thanks.
