apple abandons 5G ipod users

i have equal distaste towards this company as well. but i like the ipod's scroll wheel and so im hooked.

My hate to this company has been increasing ever since my iPod died a couple of months after the warranty ran out. Either way, I would never touch iTunes, nor would I pay premium for a lousy (quality wise) copy of a movie.
Lots of people will probably go out a buy new iPods to remain on the top of the top, flashing fancy iPods with fancy videos.

I will probably get a Samsung P2 whenever I get some spare cash. I have got no idea when that will be though.

Anyone with an iPod should get a copy of WinAVI. You can rip a DVD, WMV, MPEG etc to an MP4 file for the iPod to watch movies. That is the nice thing about Fair Use. If you bought the DVD, you have the license to watch it, and therefore rip it to a format to watch on your iPod or laptop etc.
