Theft by conversion? 1st Amendment Violations? You've gotta be kidding right? As previously stated, ONLY the GOVERNMENT can violate your 1st Amendment rights. By your reasoning, I could sue a movie theater for posting No Talking signs or their prohibition of cell phones in the cinema.

So they took down your website...big deal. Get over it.

Select one of the myriad free/cheap website services and re-upload your site.

Oh wait, it sounds like you didn't keep copies of what you posted on the site...Shame on you...better luck next time.

BTW, if you'll read the TOS (terms of service) for most internet providers & hosting services, they make no guarantee against data loss or corruption; both intentional & accidental. Most also have clauses which allow them to remove content (at their discretion), regardless of the legality of the material being hosted.

This is just my personal opinion and not legal advice. If your serious about this though, it would probably be a good idea to gather all the info you have and contact an attorney and run your causes of action it by him.

My first reaction here is: Just another emplyee of 'Lord' Gates.....however giving you the benifit of a doubt, it is possible that you are well intentioned
and quite sencere.....

However, again, your argument on Civil Rights is purely arbitrary!!!

Its like saying, that American Law, is based purely on the letter, like so many
foriegn monarchys would like it to be based upon....

However, American Law is a Balance between both the Letter and the Spirit.

It has been since the early days....

'Preciate your interest...

The first ThinkPad laptops were the 700 and the 700C.

The difference is that the 700 has a monochrome screen, and the 700C has a color screen (hence the C).

The 701 came much later, and is an ultraportable, unlike the fullsize 700 models.

It's successfully derailed, though.

And, no, I've never done any illegal drugs. I think most of my friends have at least once, though... :-?

I remember experimenting with tobacco; but do not remember
inhaling.
If anybody accuses me of making like Clinton; I tell you that if I had
been in the WhiteHouse instead of him, there would have been no
kneepads.....just plenty of 'Back Padding'!!!!

Well, I've never tried tobacco products...

All of my friends smoke, though, so I've gotten more than my share of second-hand smoke... :-?

Anyway, is this thread going to be the new longest thread ever?

If it's going to run until he wins his lawsuit (or even until he actually files it), then I guess it will be.
