Interesting article, if stats and motives are valid..... Maybe it would be better to wait for 2nd generation SSD (for better quality and lower prices)......

EDIT: Any comments and experiences from ThinkPad SSD users?

The X40 CF SSD thread is still going strong. I have not heard of any failures in that thread, and I think some of them have been running CF flash drives for 6 months+ now.
